James, I'm a life-long friend of Jimmie Fadden (NGDB) and accidentally came across some of your You Tube videos while looking at some of NGDB's.
The first was Bojangles and I have to tell you, when I first saw you and heard the child in the background, I didn't expect much. But I was wrong. You were excellent and even better on "My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys".

I just discovered you on YouTube tonight and I think you have an amazing voice. I wrote to my friend who is a songwriter in Nashville about you.
I will be purchasing the album in a few minutes.
I am a bit of a singer myself and like to play around with home recording. I was wondering if you use any effects (like TC Helicon) when you record on YouTube?? I have been thinking of getting a TC Helicon Correct and Create pedals to use in my setup. I have an extensive home karaoke setup in my living room (couple of mixers, PA, Wireless Mics, couple of karaoke players, about 1000 songs, etc...). Just like to sing for fun, but have thought about posting some songs on youtube. Do you record the voice and guitar separately and then edit and mix on the computer? Or just live take and record in one shot? Just wondering.
You will be a huge star one day. You are so talented. Just keep doing what you are doing.

James' covers usually beats the originals! How about that?! With his straight acoustic sound, he also makes you realize the beauty of those songs when they're rid of all the useless arrangements, etc. He's inspired many aspiring guitar-players like me at home and we can thank him for that.

James I was on YouTube getting songs for my writing list (Most writers have a sound track in their heads anymore) and I came across your version of "Almost Home" by Craig Morgan. Needless to say the next hour was spent watching a lot of your music! you do more with your simple acoustic and that amazing voice than a lot of singers can do with a whole band behind them.

I originally heard you on Ellen and instantly knew my husband and I would love you. I even told my husband about you when he got home, but I couldn't remember your name. He plays the guitar every day around the house, and I just knew he would like your style. Anyway, a few weeks later, we accidentally came across your music on YouTube and I said "That's him!" We truley enjoyed your show in Dayton and I think the locals did also. The next day on our way home we stopped in at the Brookshire's grocery store in Liberty and I was wearing your concert t-shirt and the cashier asked me if we went to the concert and of course I said yes and told her that you were my nephew. She told me that her mom worked for the chamber and how she thought you had an amazing voice and that maybe you could do a show maybe in Houston or even go back to Dayton or Liberty. She was very excited about the show and about you. Sooo job well done. She also said that they had an amazing time.

Randy and I made it to your concert in Dayton last night, and we are sure glad we did. We had a great time in Dayton's beautiful new civic center. It was so wonderful to hear you and the band without all the background noise of the bar gigs. I didn't realize how good Zach is on the guitar until last night. I'm glad you've added the violin (or as we Cajuns say, the fiddle) to the band. He is super. I wonder if he is any relation to Michael Doucet who is also a great local fiddler who plays with la BeauSoleil from Lafayette.
My grandfather played the fiddle in a cajun band many, many years ago. His picture, along with a couple of comments about him and by him, is in "Louisiana Fiddlers" by Ron Yule. His name was Bascom Mouton. Next time I go through Eunice, I will try to stop at the Cajun Music Museum. Maybe I'll see a couple of things about him there.
Your crazy cajun bass player is a character, huh? I enjoyed his spirit and his talent. Great drumming, too. You are fortunate to have found one another.

About a year ago I was searching YouTube for a song I wanted my dad to hear, when I stumbled upon James' cover of "I saw God today." It was right then that I fell in LOVE with his voice. I sat there and listened to pretty much every song I could find of his and can honestly say, I haven't yet heard one I didn't like or thought he could have done better. In my oppinion I think most of the songs he's done are better than the originals. Even if he covers a song that wasn't originaly country... he's made it his own, and it turned out amazing. My favorite Dupre cover is "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.
I'm so happy for James in how far he's come with his music. I just knew it was a matter of time before someone found him. Keep up the amazing work James!
